A note from my heart:
I’ve spent many years alongside people who carry impossible things. I’ve stood on the front lines, in rooms and moments you don’t forget. I’ve seen the impact of trauma, crisis, grief, and burnout on people who show up anyway. Helpers don’t get to unsee what they’ve witnessed. They don’t get to press pause on life when the job asks too much. And too often, the systems around them aren’t built to hold the weight they’re carrying.
I’ve watched incredible frontline workers push through exhaustion, hide their pain, and keep serving because that’s who they are. I’ve also seen how easily organizations can miss the quiet signs that someone is struggling — not because they don’t care, but because support systems are often reactive instead of preventative, administrative instead of relational, well-intentioned but out of touch with what’s actually happening on the ground.
I know what it’s like to be dedicated, committed, and still overwhelmed. I know what it’s like to feel responsible for everyone else while trying to hold your own life together. And I know how isolating that can be.
Lumina Collective was born from that understanding.
My heart is for the helpers — the ones who show up for their communities, their teams, their clients, their families. I want to create spaces where they can exhale. Where they don’t have to be “on.” Where they don’t have to pretend that what they carry hasn’t shaped them. Where they can access support without stigma, judgment, or the pressure to be the strong one all the time.
Because helpers deserve help.
Because wellness shouldn’t come last.
Because the people holding the community together shouldn’t fall apart in silence.
This work matters to me because you matter. And I’m here to walk alongside the people who spend their lives walking alongside everyone else.
With Warmth & Love,
Pam
